Helen Vreeswijk is 'talk of town' on Bologna Book Fair From the 23rd to the 27th of March, Standaard Publishing Company was present at the Bologna Children's Book Fair 2010 where authors of our children- and youth books were actively promoted in over 50 meetings with publishers from all over the world. Helen Vreeswijk was a much-discussed author on the fair as she was nominated by the youth jury for the most prestigious award for children- and youth literature in Germany: Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis 2010. To hear the magical words: 'and the winner is...' we will have to wait until the 8th of October when the winner will be announced at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
