Patrick De Bruyn and Pieter Aspe awarded in Bruges. (14/07/2010)

The Hercule Poirot Award is awarded every year to the best Flemish thriller. Patrick De Bruyn won this award in 2010 for his book Deadly desire (Dodelijk verlangen).

Pieter Aspe received the Hercule Poirot Lifetime Achievement Award. After Jef Geeraerts, he is only the second writer who receives this award.
